Job Summary

The Research Analyst will be responsible for covering assigned industries and companies, conducting in-depth analysis, and providing recommendations on securities to buy, sell, or hold to support investment decisions made by the CIO and Portfolio Managers.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities

• Conduct in-depth sector analysis and company research and valuation;
• Prepare and present investment proposals to the Investment Team;
• Stay updated on Vietnam’s investment climate, market conditions, and economic environment;
• Monitor and analyze economic trends and sector developments;
• Closely monitor companies under coverage including all relevant news and corporate events to assess and quantify potential impacts on investee companies’ performance and values;
• Provide timely responses to queries from the Head of Research/Portfolio Managers regarding company information and performance;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investee and potential investee companies, industry experts, and market participants such as brokerage firms and fund managers;
• Perform other tasks as required by the Company.

Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree
• 1–2 years in public equity research or private equity investment
• Strong understanding of the public equity market
• Proficient in business analysis and financial modeling
• Fluent in both English and Vietnamese
