Private Pensions play a key role in social security systems in a majority of countries around the world. The Vietnamese Government is making progress in reforming the One pillar, Public Pension System, by firstly allowing insurance companies to provide pension insurance products and then probably piloting the corporate pension scheme. VCBF has been involved in this reform and has provided technical comments to the draft regulations.

We can work with both insurance companies to work out investment strategy for insurance pension products and corporates to help them design and manage pension funds for their employees.

Approximately 20% of Franklin Templeton's assets under management come from pension funds. VCBF is leveraging this experience and strongly believes that it is in a very good position to successfully manage private pension funds in Vietnam.
